Background and History

PIAB was set up under the Personal Injuries Assessment Board (PIAB) Act 2003. A statutory body, it provides independent assessment of personal injury compensation for victims of workplace, motor and public liability accidents, without the need for many associated litigation costs.

The PIAB team consists of a wide range of technical experts, as well as administration staff who are responsible for preparing claims as well as operating our dedicated helpline. Get in touch with a member of our team.
