MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS RESUME

Medical appointments:

PIAB continues to work successfully during the current pandemic – delivering its services to customers, while supporting public health measures. 

As part of PIAB’ s ongoing provision of services to customers, we have resumed the scheduling of independent medical examinations for March.

Following careful consideration and consultation with medical practitioners, we have taken this decision in light of PIAB’s services being essential to resolve personal injuries claims in a timely way, while of course complying with all public health guidelines.

This follows the temporary cancellation of medical examinations in January and February.

Please note that all doctors on our medical panel have been following all HSE protocols and guidelines and have developed new ways of working to continue to provide services safely. In responding to the pandemic, we have adapted how we deliver our services and are continuing to process claim applications and to assess injuries.
