Claims Process FAQs

How do I get a medical report? What type of report is required?

Please note your treating doctor does not need to carry out a physical examination for the purposes of submitting a medical report. It is recommended they complete the PIAB medical form based on your medical records in their possession.

What do I need to do if I am having difficulty getting a medical report?

You may submit your claim application form to PIAB in the absence of a medical report. You or your doctor may post it to us at a later stage. It is recommended you submit a completed application form, medical report and application fee within this time period.
